Dr. Jufri Marzuki is a lecturer in Property at the School of Business, Western Sydney University. His main research area is the property market, and he has published extensively in leading journals. Dr. Marzuki holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Property Economics from Western Sydney University. He has received several awards, including the School of Business Citation for Early Career Research and the School of Business Citation for Teaching. Jufri contributes significantly to the research mission of the Property Group and School of Business at WSU. He performs research required to understand property as an asset investment class, with particular emphasis on the question of how to leverage the investment attributes of property to enhance the performance of an investment portfolio. Much of his work thus far has covered a variety of areas such as property market dynamics, alternate property sectors and property investment vehicles, intersecting both scholarly and practical uses. Since joining the School of Business in 2020, Jufri has developed a distinguished research career; he is the author / co-author of a growing list of 29 peer-reviewed articles published in international peer-reviewed property and business journals and has obtained a h-index of 11 with over 340 citations in a short period of time. He is the first recipient of the School of Business Citation for Early Career Research in 2023 and has received several teaching and research awards in the past several years, such as the School of Business Citation for Teaching (2020), Emerald Literati (2019) and PRRES Research Scholarship (2016) awards.
