About IRERS

The International Real Estate Research Symposium (IRERS) is a premier biennial conference on real estate, organised by the National Institute of Valuation (INSPEN) and the Valuation and Property Services Department (JPPH), Malaysia. Since its establishment in 2002, IRERS has grown into one of the region’s most respected platforms for real estate research, policy dialogue, and industry networking.

Bringing together government agencies, academia, industry leaders, and international associations, IRERS serves as a dynamic forum for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Its programme features Plenary and Parallel Sessions, Industry and Academia Forums, Poster Presentations, Competitions and Technical Visits, providing participants with diverse opportunities to learn, share, and connect.

To strengthen global engagement, IRERS actively collaborates with leading international universities and research institutions, ensuring diverse perspectives and high-quality contributions. Selected papers are published in Scopus-indexed journals, reinforcing IRERS as a significant contributor to advancing global real estate scholarship.
