Drawing 1

Drawing 1 introduces the beginning drawing student, at the high school level, to the classical tradition of observational drawing and the art of seeing. Student artists enjoy personalized instructional approaches in a supportive studio environment. Drawing studies include still life, portrait, perspective, collage (mixed media) and abstract exploration. Emphasis is placed on technique with opportunities for personal expression and student choice.
