We apply automatically for all clients when they arrive to the US for SNAP (Food Stamps) and Medicaid (health insurance).

We teach clients how to use their new EBT (electronic benefits transfer) card to access their SNAP benefits.

We help clients solve any problems with their benefits by helping communicate with their county offices.
Colorado Works (TANF) Application
For eligible clients only, we apply for the Colorado Works (TANF – temporary assistance for needy families) cash assistance program. *To be eligible for TANF, you must have at least one child under the age of 18 and have completed a cash intake session with IRC.
Ongoing Colorado Works (TANF) Case Management & Coaching
For eligible clients only, we manage Colorado Works (TANF) cases here at IRC, instead of clients having to work directly with their counties on their own.
Old Age Pension (OAP) Application & Case Management
For eligible clients only, we apply for the Old Age Pension (OAP) cash assistance program and help manage the ongoing case. *To be eligible for OAP, you must be age 60 and above and meet other criteria.
Educational Support for SNAP, Colorado Works (TANF), and Medicaid Participants
We help clients transition to managing their own Public Benefits cases directly with their counties when they are ready.

Booking Free Medicaid Transportation (TRANSDEV)
*All rides must be booked at least 2 business days in advance.
Call Transdev appointment line.
Dial 303-398-2155 then press 4.
Ask for interpretation.
Provide your:
Medicaid number
Patient name, date of birth, and phone number
Home address or pickup address and clinic address
Time of the appointment and the time you need to return home.
Ask the agent for pickup and return times.
On the day of the appointment, the driver will call you. Please make sure your phone is active.
If your ride is late, call Transdev number and press 5 to check on your drive’s location.
Book a trip online.
Select Health First Colorado
Navigate to bottom right corner to the chat box and click “book a trip.”
Provide your:
Medicaid number
Patient name, date of birth, and phone number
Home address or pickup address and clinic address
Time of the appointment and the time you need to return home.
Ask the agent for the pickup and return times.
On the day of the appointment, the driver will call you. Please make sure your phone is active.
If your ride is late, call Transdev number and press 5 to check on your drive’s location.
Mobility by Ecolane App
Call Transdev line 303-398-2155, select 4 – provide an email address to receive username and temporary password - reset your password once received.
Download Mobility by Ecolane Mobile app.
Select “Health First Colorado” and enter username and password.
Navigate to bottom link that says, “book a trip.”
From the dropdown list select:
Type of appointment (Primary Care, Specialist, Dental, Etc.)
Date and time of appointment (set on drop off time.)
Home address or pickup address and clinic address
Click on (Yes) to book a return ride and the time you need to return home.
On the day of the appointment, the driver will call you. Please make sure your phone is active.
If your ride is late, call Transdev number and press 5 to check on your drive’s location.
