IRC clients with school age children can receive free clothing items for their children from a store called “Clothes to Kids.” IRC staff can coordinate an appointment and help provide transportation for the first visit. Families can visit every four months but will need to provide their own transport and schedule appointments in the future.
Children must be 3-21, enrolled in school, and live within one of the following counties (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson and Park).
IRC staff can support with the first visit. We will call you to find a good time to take you to choose clothing and shoes for your children. Typically, the children will be in school and therefore only a parent will need go to the appointment. However, if the children would like to go, they are welcome.
