By car
Limerick is well connected by motorway and national roads, especially the M7 from Dublin and the N18/M18 from Shannon/Galway.

By train
Direct rail services run from Galway,  Dublin or Cork to Limerick Colbert Station several times daily. More information at Iarnród Éireann/Irish Rail 

By plane
Shannon Airport is the closest airport to Limerick and offers many international connections. Bus: frequent direct buses to Limerick city centre (30-40 minutes): Bus 343. Taxi: 20-25 minutes.
