This internal policy supports compliance with UK legislation, funding requirements and recognised standards of good governance. The policy is available to funders, regulators and authorised stakeholders upon request.
Ipswich Romanian Community CIC maintains an internal Conflict of Interest Policy and Register of Directors' Interests to support transparent, accountable and independent decision-making. Directors and relevant individuals are expected to declare actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest and, where appropriate, withdraw from related discussions or decisions.
Ipswich Romanian Community CIC maintains a Business & Trading Plan designed to support long-term financial sustainability while protecting and developing the organisation's community purpose. The plan focuses on developing appropriate commissioned services, partnerships and income-generating activities alongside grant funding and other income sources.
IRC aims to progressively increase trading income and reduce reliance on grant funding for core organisational sustainability, while ensuring that any surplus is reinvested into the organisation's community objectives.
Ipswich Romanian Community CIC maintains a proportionate risk management framework to identify, assess and manage risks affecting the safety and wellbeing of participants, volunteers and Directors, as well as the organisation's activities, finances, information, partnerships and community impact.
