Ipswich Romanian Community is delighted to announce the launch of a new chapter for our ESOL English Classes for Romanian speakers.
Following the conclusion of our previous volunteer-led English classes, we are excited to begin a new era by introducing a refreshed ESOL programme in a brand-new venue, conveniently located in the heart of Ipswich.
From Sunday, 8 February 2026, our classes will take place every Sunday at 2:00 PM, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for adults who wish to improve their English language skills, gain confidence in everyday communication, and become more engaged within the local community.
Our sessions will be delivered with the support of native English teachers and qualified Community Interpreters, ensuring that learners receive practical guidance and encouragement throughout their learning journey.
Whether you are just beginning to learn English or looking to develop your existing skills, everyone is welcome to join us.
Our ESOL activity is recognised by local authorities, including Jobcentre Plus.
If you would like to take part in our ESOL English Classes, please complete our registration form using the link below.

Rope Walk Community Project 2026– In Development
We are excited to be working alongside the Integrated Neighbourhood Team, Ipswich Community Media, Community Praxis, and other local organisations, in close collaboration with local authorities, on the Rope Walk Project.
With the support and involvement of the local community, our shared goal is to improve the area, engage with residents, and identify key challenges together. This project is currently in the development stage, and as we continue to listen and learn from the community, we will adapt and grow based on emerging needs.
