For your final project I want to take all that you have learned in Animation this Summer and create a short narrative story. It doesn't need to be any longer than your previous projects, but should contain a beginning, middle and end. Your theme can be anything, a drama, and action adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, comedy. You can choose to use sound, or you can forgo sound. You can even include your own audio, for example you can record your voice with your phone and import it into Pencil2D. check out some tips below.
The Shorter the Better
Keep you animation only as long as it needs to be. This will save you on time and you can focus on creating emotion in your story
Be Practical
Don't take on more than you can accomplish. Yes you should challenge yourself, but within reason. Work on the edge of challenging yourself and playing it safe. You will be happy with the results.
Make it visual
You only have a short time, show us and not tell us.
Find Single Moments
Find a single moment in time to tell a story. It doesn't need to be some epic space opera. Just a single moment, in time, such as waiting at a bus stop, or a rocket launching to space.
Tell a story
Have a beginning middle and end. setup, conflict and resolution.
Engage your viewers
make it appealing
