Matteo Guerra-Geisler 

Matteo is a Brazilian-German researcher currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Biodiversity and Ecology at Georg-August-University Göttingen. With roots spanning two continents, his interest sits at the intersection of tropical biology and botanical science, with a particular passion for tropical plants and their ecology. 

He currently works as a Student Assistant at both the Old Botanical Garden and the Herbarium Göttingen, gaining hands-on experience in plant science and collections-based research. He is also set to begin an internship with The Red List Project and the Inselberg Biodiversity Lab, reflecting his growing commitment to conservation and biodiversity research.
