Purpose: a performance test that provides quantitative data for an upper extremity task in closed kinetic chain (CKC).
Instructions:
Assume a push-up position, with back flat parallel to the floor and feet a comfortable distance apart, hands at 36-inches apart and weightbearing upper extremities positioned perpendicular to the floor and over the hands. Two parallel and aligned lines are marked on the floor to determine the initial placement of the hands.
