The 2025-26 school year marked my first year in a broadcast publication. Through my experience, I gained valuable skills and I leave this year with a new passion for broadcast journalism. The technical skills I learned included filming interviews, editing, and collecting A-roll and B-roll. Along with these techincal skills, I also developed and reinforced my interpersonal skills. I grew in my ability to interview by increasing the quality of my questions as well as mainting professionalism while still being someone that the interviewee felt comfortable sharing real answers with. I also developed a deep passion for broadcast, specifically in sports, and I now know that it is something I look to pursure in my future career.
