GAMING
As talked about before, the game itself will happen on a dedicated discord server for it. However, the game will not be a voice-chat game, but rather, it will be a text-based one. This is mostly because I feel that it'll enhance the experience and encourage more roleplay when every NPC (or PC for that matter) doesn't sound like an old guy with a beard.
In order to help with running the game, the discord server in question will have some bots added to it that'll help. These can range from diceroller to something like tupperbox which would make it clear which NPC is speaking. Once the group of players is chosen, we'll discuss what bots we'll need as a group. The same goes with any map software meant for combat, dungeon-exploring, etc.
Currently there is no schedule set for the RP, as that will be decided once all the players have been decided on. We'll look for a time that we can all agree on, and the game will be most likely played either once every week or once every two weeks. However, due to real-life and such, I'll take the right to call off some weeks when I don't have a time to prep the next leg of the journey, or if enough players can't make it to a session. One player missing is still acceptable, two or more makes things difficult.
As for the size of the group, I'm looking for 4 to 6 players, depending on the interest. In addition, I'm not looking to see full character sheets immediately. Instead, I want to hear the character concepts and ideas that people have. I'll be making my decision on the players and characters based on that, and based on who I think will make up for the best united group. After all, you're not lone heroes, you'll be an adventuring party sailing the Disco 80's space oceans.
As a final note, this campaign will be using the up-coming official Spelljammer rules for the Fifth Edition. However, the campaign can and will probably start before the books are out, considering right in the beginning we won't be needing them - and when they are out, we should be in a situation where they'll be needed.
