Through my years in student leadership, I always had one goal...to bring meaningful change.
As a student of color with immigrant parents I have seen firsthand the struggles and systemic barriers that are prevalent within our education system. Whether it is lack of accessibility to vital resources or inert bias within educational institutions. However, I also recognize that these barriers are even more prevalent for other students, and I want to change that. Why?
Because education is for all. Knowledge is for all. And NOTHING should interfere in a student achieving their dreams. I am here to work towards a future in AACPS where ALL students have the resources they need to succeed and feel represented, included, and safe. You students are my number one priority and I will always serve you.
