Student Government Association (GBHS): Served in a variety of positions for the last 3 years including CRASC Rep., Mental Health Committe Chair, and most recently Vice President. I helped plan and lead several school wide initiatives and events that include Homecoming, Teacher Appreciation events, Reading Day Campaigns for elementary and middle schoolers, Cultural Night, and School safety educational campaigns.
Chesapeake Association of Student Councils (CRASC) Exec Team, 3 yrs: My time at CRASC has been filled with precious memories and memorable events. I first started my time at CRASC as a Service Liaisons where I helped craft fun service-oriented workshops and initiatives like Wellness Buddies! Then I was fortunate enough to be elected as Sec. of Service where with my amazing Service Liaisons we were able to introduce an innovative Middle Service website and advertise numerous service grant opportunities for young changemakers! Finally, this past year I served as CRASC Vice President where I worked to expand transparency and connections through creating Teen Advisory Meeting updates and collecting views on various new policies. I also worked to advance inclusive & diverse curriculums through serving on MOI revision committees for the AACPS Health Curriculum.
Equity/Students Organizing Against Racism Team (GB): Collaborated with fellow student leaders to advance conversations about inclusion and diversity. Worked with teachers and administration to provide the student perspective on the importance of limiting bias and prejudice in education.

Mental Health Teen Advisory:
In this position, my fellow team members and I have been acting in an advisory position on the implementation of mental health resources, expanding resources, and bringing student voice to the forefront of all decisions.
School Newspaper:
I am a firm believer of the power student voice holds against the growing bigotry and mass ignorance in our world. As a student reporter I wrote several articles that detail the harsh realities of being a student, such as gun violence, racism, and volatile world events. Through which I advocate for reform and change.
Student Service-Learning Leadership Team (SSL):
I work with some of the greatest and most passionate students across the county to design unique Impact (service) projects and to spread the love of service to all students!

Interact Club:
A school-based service club where I help organize different service initiatives to help our local community! A notable initiative I started is our Kenya Connect Pen Pal writing campaign, where students were able to connect with students from Kenya to help them practice English and for our students to gain a deeper insight into other cultures.
GBHS Garden Project:
I launched a pilot program at GBHS in collaboration with TCP founder Andy Schindling and Environmental Club Advisor Mr Greif., where students are repurposing discarded tires as garden beds to grow flowers and vegetables. Meant to not only make our school more environmentally aware and to address food insecurities but also to provide a way for students to engage in wellness activities
