-What We've Done-
Seventeen of our members attended this deeply engaging training on Sept. 13th, enhancing our understanding of de-escalation. Our trainer and facilitator Sam Obeid, was masterfully helping us add to our toolbox of strategies. So grateful to Sam and those that attended the training. Now the rest of us must do our part to support these folks to make their jobs easier. Volunteer where you can. Be The Difference.
This past Labor Day we represented Working People
Billionaires and their allies in government, ICE, and law enforcement continue their attacks on working people. We fought back—for public schools over private profits, healthcare over hedge funds, and shared prosperity over corporate greed.
🚩 Why: To defend our communities, demand justice, and build a world that works for all.
Our Demands:
-Stop billionaire corruption in the Trump administration.
-Protect Medicaid, Social Security, and programs for working people.
-Fully fund schools, healthcare, and housing for all.
-End attacks on immigrants, Black, Indigenous, trans people, and other marginalized communities.
-Invest in people, not wars.
From the Close Alligator Alcatraz protest:
On behalf of Operation Overpass, we would like to thank each and every person who joined us on the overpass today! It was a hot one, but that didn’t stop us! It was an awesome mix of Urgent Action folks, our Free DC friends, our overpass “regulars,” and MANY first timers!! Roughly 70 people came together to make our voices heard💙 Stay tuned for our next event!!
From the Trump Takeover DC protest:
We had a fantastic group of people who showed up & spoke up about trump’s overreach in DC & his attempt to rig the midterms and beyond. But I also want to say how special all of you are! Some showed up this morning & again this afternoon. Others help with security, the website, social media, preparing and printing our meeting agendas, the registration team, AV, handling finances, organizing events, the affinity groups & more! This group also looks out for each other at our events: cooling stations, handing out water, hydration powder, providing music, and even sharing slices of watermelon today! So while we are in some dark times, try to think about how this group has grown over the last few months, & the people that we’ve met because of our involvement with Indivisible. I hope it brings a smile to your face. It does mine !
Close Alligator Alcatraz
Trump DC Takeover
This movement was about more than resistance — it was about hope, justice, and the power of the people to shape a better future.
On Saturday, July 26th, families gathered for a peaceful protest along East Bay and Seminole Blvd. near Largo Central Park. The event lasted from 9:00am to 11:00am. The group rallied for all of the concerning topics of the day that have been under threat since this rogue administration has been in office. We'd like to thank all of those who participated. Please check out the images below to see the awesome support that was represented.
On Monday, July 14th, at 11:00am we met with several of the local clergy for a peaceful demonstration at Representative Luna's office in Seminole, FL. The event lasted for an hour with speeches from each of the participating clergy and our own Brandt Robinson. The turnout was strong and folks stood fast even through a substantial downpour. The event ended with the clergy delivering reports to Representative Luna's office staff. Thanks to everyone who participated, and watch for the announcement of future events.

On July 3rd, Senate and House Republicans passed their Medicaid and SNAP slashing bill.
Republican Members of Congress needed to know how unpopular this bill was from their constituents. Therefore, people showed up and protested outside of Representative Anna Paulina Luna's office during rush hour traffic.
This event attempted to force your republican representative to answer for cuts to Medicaid and SNAP while providing billionaires and corporations more tax cuts.
This event was an overwhelming success. Groups of residents all over the globe took to the streets to demonstrate their displeasure with this rogue administration. Here in Florida there were a reported 70 demonstrations that took place throughout the state. Please check out the buttons below to view videos of the events. Thanks to all who stood in solidarity for this momentous occasion!
The Peoples Town Hall
In a Where's Waldo moment Indivisible FL-13 and Indivisible North Pinellas held an community led "Empty Chair" Town Hall since Congresswoman Luna declined to face her constituents. The constituency was well represented with around 150 residents attending the meeting. The most pressing issues of our time involving defense of the rule of law, our constitution, and in general, democracy itself were covered in an educating event for all. Check out the photos below and THIS LINK to a video of the event. And, as always, many thanks for all who attended!
This gathering held on Tuesday, May 27th from 4 to 6pm was a great success, with solid participation. The patrons displayed their creative messaging while peacefully making their voices heard in symbolic protest. THANK YOU FOR JOINING US – MAY 1st!
On Thursday, May 1st, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, we came together once again at the intersection of U.S. 19 and Curlew Road to stand up for democracy and push back against the Trump administration’s ongoing attacks on the rule of law.
“Trump and his billionaire profiteers were waging a race to the bottom—slashing wages, cutting benefits, and stripping away basic human dignity. This May Day, we fought back. We demanded a nation that values families over fortunes—public education over privatization, healthcare over hedge funds, and shared prosperity over profit-driven politics.” – 50501
WE HAD EVERY CORNER COVERED!
Thanks to everyone who helped spread the word across networks. This was a critical moment in our movement, and your presence made a difference.
In solidarity, always.
