We were joined by over 100 people for our first meeting at the beautiful St. Mark Lutheran Church. Mary McMullen of Pinellas Protests was a guest speaker and gave us some future action items. https://pinellasprotests.org/ Brian Beckman was another one of our speakers for the evening and Jack Smith shared with us information about the generosity of some local restaurants that are giving away food to families impacted by the loss of SNAP benefits. https://www.cltampa.com/news/snap-free-food
Thanks to all who came out to join us for this meeting on this election day. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, December 2 at St. Mark Lutheran Church at 1120 Curlew Road, Dunedin, Florida 34698. In solidarity.
This was our first meeting at our new location at Dunedin Presbyterian Church located at 455 Scotland Street and we send our thanks to Pastor David for his assistance. Over 120 fellow residents attended and another 21 joined us via Zoom. A huge apprieciation goes out to Wendy at PFLAG Safety Harbor for speaking with us. Please consider checking out their page and getting involved. https://www.facebook.com/pflagsafetyharbor. Brandt led a discussion about government overreach towards the LBGTQ community and another about the settled lawsuit regarding the 2022 Florida Parental Rights in Education Act. Sgt Eric Rhodes discussed “FLARE”, a group who protest at Washington, D.C.’s Union Square, and how to get involved.
A huge thanks to all the speakers and the attendees for efforts to move forward in protest in a positive and peaceful way. In solidarity.
We’ve welcomed another one hundred+ fellow citizens for a packed, deeply engaging agenda, including two guest speakers. We must continue our vigilance and commitment with next year’s elections front and center. Gratitude to Faith United Church of Christ for allowing us to use their service's beautiful sanctuary for the past two years. Our new home will be the First Presbyterian Church in Dunedin.
WE ARE SO HUMBLED! Thank you to the over 100 fellow citizens joining us for tonight’s monthly meeting, as we celebrate eight years, committed to participatory democracy and its defense. We are so grateful.

Thank you to the 150+ fellow citizens joining us tonight for this work that has now become a movement, the most critical and urgent in most of our lifetimes. We are honored and humbled by your commitment and presence, knowing that we continue to be joined by so many “first-timers”, which is happening across our nation. In solidarity.
TONIGHT’S MEETING: SENSATIONAL! We were joined by 150 fellow residents and another 20 via Zoom (thanks to Lisa for making this happen!). The energy, excitement and solidarity on display is only the tip of this movement. We must remain visible, coal and vigilant in our defense of the rule of law, our Constitution and democracy itself. We shared results from our many actions (see What We Have Done! and contined our discussion on diversity and inclusion. See the video below:

On May 6th, we held another fantastic and deeply engaging meeting, and we are truly grateful to everyone who attended. During the meeting, we introduced a new standing agenda item focused on REPRESENTATION, which we will continue to address in all future gatherings. America is a beautiful tapestry, and our commitment to representation, diversity, and inclusion is both intentional and enduring.
The April meeting had sixty people fifteen minutes before it even started! We had many cars parked in the overflow lot across the street at Dunedin High! Take a moment to reflect on everyone who made this possible. And then think back to the early days when we gathered in each other’s living rooms with fewer than ten people. This meeting was over 150 strong! This is what participatory democracy looks like—and this is the power of our collective work. In solidarity.
More than 138 residents joined us tonight, and we are deeply humbled and grateful for everyone who attended our monthly meeting. Reflecting on the five years we spent meeting in each other’s living rooms, we have so much to celebrate as we embark on a new chapter of educating, organizing, and mobilizing our community through participatory democracy. Together, in solidarity, we move forward.
We are both humbled and overjoyed by the turnout of over SEVENTY fellow residents at tonight’s “Indivisible North Pinellas” community meeting. For the past seven years, we’ve gathered monthly, with the first five meetings held in members’ living rooms. Throughout it all, we’ve remained steadfast in our focus and unwavering in our commitment to participatory democracy.
