Ministers Youth Council

In 2022, I was one of 40 students selected from around the province of Alberta to provide input, and youth perspectives and share my voice in provincial education. Being a part of the education minister's youth council was an incredible experience that helped me develop a wide range of skills and knowledge. I had the opportunity to work alongside other passionate and driven individuals who shared my enthusiasm for education and its potential to make a positive impact in the world.

During my time on the council, I learned how to effectively communicate my ideas and opinions, while also listening and learning from the perspectives of others. I developed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills through analyzing and discussing complex educational issues with the group.

Furthermore, I honed my leadership skills by taking on various roles within the council, such as organizing events and facilitating discussions. I also learned how to collaborate effectively with others, as we worked towards common goals and objectives.

Being a part of the education minister's youth council was an invaluable experience that allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I am grateful for the skills and knowledge that I gained during my time on the council, and I look forward to using them to make a positive impact in my future endeavours.
