In 2022, I co-founded the Mygrscopes club: a club dedicated to 3D printing, designing and programming microscopes that will go towards schools in developing countries. The microscope we build reflects the creativity and passion that we have in STEM education and teaches younger students about occurring technologies.Â
. Not only did I get to share my passion for technology with my peers, but I also developed a wide range of skills along the way. From learning how to code and print microscopes to managing a team and organizing events, being a part of mygrscopes taught me invaluable lessons that will stay with me for years to come. And best of all, knowing that we were able to provide other students with tools to explore the world around them was truly rewarding.
Although we have just started this year- we have a mission to send these out next summer to other countires where our club members have connections to other countries such as India, Kenya, South Africa, Pakistan and Nepal.
