iMoCap Lab
iMoCap Lab
Welcome to the Inertial Motion Capture Lab (iMoCap) at Hankyong National University.
Motion capture through wearable inertial sensors offers the advantage of being location-independent, allowing for use anytime and anywhere.
This technology is being applied across diverse fields such as healthcare, AR/VR, sports, mobile robotics, and unmanned vehicles.
Centered on our core technologies in inertial motion capture, iMoCap conducts research to provide optimal solutions across a wide range of applications, including mechatronics, biomechanics, robotics, control, and automotive engineering.
Graduates of iMoCap have gone on to work at major companies and national research institutes such as Hyundai Motor Group, the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology, and the Research Institute of Rehabilitation Engineering.
