Welcome to Imagine If?, the Alternate History site and podcast that imagines the Imagine if?'s of reality, such as "Imagine if Nazis won World War II?", "Imagine if the Confederacy won the Civil War?", and "What if the US lost the Revolution?" We create stories of narratives and histories of alternate universes, and this is the hub for those stories. We imagine the common scenarios of Alternate History as well as the less-common scenarios.

All of history is a story. Each event, each person, each place, is all a piece of a large puzzle that is our past, our present and our future. The butterfly effect of every event is huge in magnitude. For example, What single event is responsible for the annexation of Oregon, constitution of Kansas, and implementation Native American women positively in the American psyche? The Lewis and Clark expedition allowed America to annex the area of Kansas, lay claim to Oregon, and their guide, Sacajawea, became and remains the among famous Native American women, perhaps second only to Pocahontas. Don't believe it? One teenager getting sick with a disease became responsible for the American and French Revolutions and directly led to the fall of Pax Britannica. That one person was General George Washington, who planned to join the British Royal Navy before getting sick with the now-eradicated Smallpox. This lead him, at the encouragement of his mother, to join the British Army, where his militias attack on a French settlement in Pennsylvania started a global conflict that led to the American Revolution.
