ISE Software, relevance and alternatives:-
Monday 13th of December, IEOM-KFUPM students' chapter held a webinar with Dr. Syed Mujahid, Assistant prof in the ISE department.
The discussion was regarding the importance of ISE software for ISE graduates. Dr. Syed mentioned related areas of industrial engineering that concern students and graduates, like optimization, statistics, simulation, and data science. Dr. Syed gave suggestions to software used in these areas, with an insightful comparison between commercial and open-source software.
More than 25 students attended the webinar and their insights and experiences.

Talk with ISE alumni, Marketing and Engineering:-
Wednesday 8th of December, IEOM-KFUPM conducted an online webinar with Engineer Mohamed Altajer, Chairman of CMO Council - Middle East.
The friendly talk aims to answer some of the questions regarding Eng. Mohamed's career, for example, the reasons behind his decision to work in the marketing area with an IE degree, how he navigated his path to reach where he is now, and many exciting questions more.
The webinar was a real success due to the presence of one of the great successful KFUPM Alumni and inspirational personalities such as the one Eng. Mohamed has. Moreover, two of our colleagues from IEOM-PNU joined the event with more than 25 attendees. IEOM-KFUPM would like to thank them for accepting our invitation, and we are looking forward to more collaborations in the future with them.
COOP/SUMMER TRAINING Meeting:-
On 10th of November, IEOM-KFUPM students chapter held a COOP/SUMMER TRAINING meeting with the presence of Mr. Rami Busbait. In the meeting, MR. Rami discussed the steps toward a successful experience in their training. He also pointed out common mistakes students make on their journey. Among the points mentioned by MR. Rami was the importance building network, taking notes, developing a love for learning, and being enthusiastic.
Moreover, a group of students shared their experience in the training program with companies like Baker Hughes, McKinsey & company, and Tamara.

More than 30 students attended the meeting with excitement for learning. The meeting was held at building 60 at KFUPM.
