You are cordially invited to submit a proposal to the Third International Conference on L2 Listening (ICLL 2026), hosted by the English Language Teaching program at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and organized by the Network for L2 Listening Research and Education. The conference will take place in Viña del Mar, Chile, on May 28–29, 2026. This event is funded by Fondecyt Regular 1251060 “Metacognition and Engagement in Computer-Based L2 Listening.”
ICLL 2026 will be highlighted by three internationally recognized scholars as keynote speakers:
Christine C. M. Goh, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Phil Hubbard, Stanford University Language Center, USA.
Joseph Siegel, Stockholm University, Sweden.
We encourage presentations related to the conference theme, ‘Individual voices & global needs in L2 listening research and education’, especially in light of the evolving landscape of L2 teaching and learning.
