Participants will gain practical skills and strategies to design, develop, and implement a LE Team assembly activity.
Active learning session description
Session facilitators will provide a brief overview of the learning engineering team-building process that can be considered to address scenarios that are likely to occur in the pK-12, Higher Ed, Workforce/corporate, student, & Government/Military education space. Before embarking on the pK-12, Higher Ed, Workforce/corporate, student, & Government/Military projects, it is important to consider how the learning engineering teams can be assembled and who should be at the table during designing, planning, and execution (Basu et al., 2020; Holstein et al., 2019). Therefore, collaborating on scenarios in the different education spaces can lend powerful insights into how the LE team assembly opportunities may differ based on the context and how to consider assembling and building LE teams moving forward. During the active learning portion of the session, participants will be guided in considering a variety of short scenarios that may represent different areas well-suited to applying the learning engineering team assembling steps.
