Dr. Gyeonggeon Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Natural Sciences and Science Education Group at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received his Ph.D. in Science Education from Seoul National University in 2023, following undergraduate studies in Chemistry Education and Computer Science and Engineering. Before joining NTU, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the AI4STEM Education Center at the University of Georgia, USA.

His current research explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into science education, with particular interests in automated assessment, human–AI collaboration in learning, and laboratory safety. His broader research experience spans the history and philosophy of science education, curriculum studies, educational technology, and electrochemistry.

Drawing on this interdisciplinary background, Dr. Lee investigates how AI and multimodal approaches can support meaningful science learning and contribute to whole-person education.
