ICF manufactures a variety of safety accessories intended for usage inside the manholes and chambers. Most commonly used are the stations inside shafts, ladders with protection cage & protection fences which could be designed as suitable using several connection fittings as shown in the figures below. The stations and fences are manufactured to suitable standards as required by the customer.

Close-molded fiberglass components shall be used in the construction of ICF fiberglass handrail and ladder systems. Producing cage hoops requires using the open-molded, hand-lay-up technique.

The fire retardant polyester resin used in the molding of the parts must pass the ASTM E-84 test with a flame spread of 25 or less and contain a UV inhibitor. Yellow safety must be used.

ICF fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) ladder and cage systems must adhere to OSHA 1910.27's specifications.

Ladders must be put together in a shop, and they can be pre-drilled and ready for standoff clip installation in the field.

Close-molded fiberglass reinforced components are required for the side rails, rungs, and cage straps. The side rails must be square and 50 MM in size. The rungs must be 30MM diameter FRP non-skid circular bars.

Cage hoops must be produced using the open mold hand lay-up method, with a minimum top and bottom thickness of 6MM and an intermediate hoops thickness of 50MM x 6MM. Around the hoop, 50MM x 4MM open-molded straps spaced 250MM apart must be used to connect the cage.
