Afterschool Coordinator Job Opening

The ICES PTA is looking for an Afterschool Coordinator to work with Baroody Camps, Inc. as our main contact for the daily operations of our Afterschool program (Tuesday - Thursday, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. or 3:45 - 4:45 p.m.) for K through 6th-grade students. The fall program is tentatively slated to run from October 11- December 9. Our preference would be to hire a facility or staff member of Island Creek Elementary. This is a paid position.

Job Description: The On-Site Program Coordinator serves as the main contact between the PTA, Island Creek Elementary, and Baroody Camps. The onsite Coordinator should be available between dismissal (3:20 p.m.) and 30 minutes after the end of the program. The Onsite Coordinator will distribute rosters and collect sign-in/out sheets with student contact information, allergies, etc. The Onsite Coordinator helps direct students to their afterschool program, helps cover for an instructor if they are running late, and to deal with students that may be disruptive or help resolve any issues that may arise. The Island Creek Elementary School Art Teachers are looking for volunteers to help with two projects:

Project 1)

Volunteers interested in helping in Kindergarten or 1st-grade classes this fall. Volunteers would help with the prep and hanging, and mounting of artwork.
