Croc Rock-N-Run

We are excited to announce the PTA's ICES Fitness Week and Croc Rock-N-Run! Information about the Croc Rock-N-Run will be in the September 7, Thursday Folder.  

Below is a copy of the parent packet that explains more about the event, and how the fundraiser works and includes information on how to register your child.

ICES Fitness Week: Monday, September 18 – Friday, September 22

The Croc Rock-N-Run will be held during specials on Friday, September 22, outside in the fields.

Run Times:

9:00 – 10:00 a.m. 5th & 6th Grade

10:35 – 11:30 a.m. Kindergarten/PAC & PreK AM

12:05 – 1:00 p.m. 3rd & 4th Grade

1:05 – 2:00 p.m. 1st Grade

2:05 – 3:00 p.m. 2nd Grade / PreK PM

Why are we holding the fitness week and fun run? 

The goal of this week is to make it a fun week for our children focused on fitness and to be our largest fundraiser of the year. The ICES PTA, PE department, and the ICES Administration are working closely together to handle this event from start to finish!

What can I do to help make this successful? 

1. Support this fundraiser by sharing your child’s donation page link with family and friends.  Fundraising will be open from September 8 – September 24. Each registered student can create an individual link and page on the website, or you can donate to the classroom leaderboard. You can also donate directly to their classroom leaderboard. A paper pledge form will also be available on our website if you prefer to donate with a check. The Island Creek Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, making your donation tax-deductible.

2. Come cheer on your child during their Friday, September 22 run. Pre-registration is required. Sign up here: https://tinyurl.com/Rock-N-RunParents23. Parents can bring homemade signs, cheer pom poms, or other items to help make the event special and to cheer all students on! No noise makers, please!

4. Join the Island Creek PTA: It only takes 5 minutes and costs $10. Visit https://ices.memberhub.com/store to join! Our fall membership drive takes place from August 21 – October 31. Our member goal for the 2023-2024 school year is 300 members.
