When students get to 8th grade, they have the opportunity to take Integrated Math 1 (which is a high school level class). Admittance to this class is determined by a combination of both academic and behavioral factors including but not limited to the following factors from second semester of 7th Grade: Overall scholarship grade, CPM Chapter assessments, participation and the ability to ask questions. It also includes the willingness to persevere both individually and collectively in small groups, behavior and its effects on effort, attitude and cooperation. Lastly, daily attendance/tardies, missing or late assignments and overall work completion will become factors in placement.
