"Although Jared & Allie signed their contract in March of 2021, it was August 2022 before we were able to start their home remodel. Shipping delays during COVID and material shortages made it difficult, as with all contractors in the country. This family was looking for an open concept on their 1st floor so we opened up and reframed the space between the existing kitchen, wet bar and hall closet to achieve that look. An LVL beam was installed to support the new openings and crown moldings were installed throughout the project to give it a cohesive feeling. A new laundry room was framed in and finished out as well as a new storage area with a door from their family farm house for that personal touch. A gorgeous custom tile backsplash was installed between the cabinets and the ceiling in the kitchen. The cabinet and countertop package was $35,000 by itself but money well spent as you can see! The buffet and tower unit was custom built by a local woodworker that does all of our custom pieces and we added the shiplap per the clients request to finish it out. They were thrilled with the finished remodel and look forward to hosting many family functions in the new open space."
