A. CNC Machine Tools
- AI-based applications still have development potential.
- I also believe research should serve industry pain points.
- Scientific or technological breakthroughs are often more attainable when preliminary efforts focus on an isolated component (such as a single machine); subsequently, research can expand into sequential and multidimensional frameworks to achieve a more holistic and systemic paradigm.
- Due to the extreme complexity of machines (or systems), teamwork is even more crucial.
- I believe that engineers in the new era must boldly break existing rules and frameworks and redefine the word "R&D" with AI and data.
B. Robotics and Automation Technologies with Intelligent Elements
- The manufacturing industry encompasses a very wide range of sectors, meaning that situations and challenges are highly complex.
- Proposed solutions must be modular and flexible to address diverse challenges.
- Many systems integration companies are highly specialized and experienced. Therefore, finding your niche is crucial; choosing the right path is more important than simply working hard.
- It remains worthwhile to invest resources in cutting-edge technologies.
- We incorporate AI elements into various forms of robots, such as robotic arms and vehicles (UGVs, UAVs).
