Shang-Chih Lin was born in Taichung, Taiwan in 1988. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2016. From 2016 to 2020, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar with the Research Center for Information Technology Innovation and Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. From 2020 to 2022, he was an Engineer with the Intelligent Manufacturing Development Center, Yeong Chin Machinery Industries Co., Ltd., Taichung, Taiwan. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Automatic Control Engineering, Feng Chia University. He is also an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Automation and Smart Technology (AUSMT). His research interests include artificial intelligence, big data analysis, smart manufacturing, and unmanned vehicles. sclin[at]fcu.edu.tw
