First, the PI will share personal experiences and petri dish projects with university freshmen and then introduce the concept and goals of recruiting new members.

When I was very young, I didn't know the meaning of life, and I always thought playing e-games was everything to me. One day, I realized how difficult it is to make money through part-time work, waking me up from my dream. So I started a four-year remedial course recharge plan during college (2006-2010), which helped me always get the best grades in most of the courses. But I was not satisfied with this status, so I gradually obtained nearly ten professional licenses/certificates. I also made my life colorful by participating in several school clubs. In addition, practical competitions and graduation projects also enabled me to acquire important knowledge and skills. Even so, I still have no idea where my future lies. Fast-forward to my last year of college (2009-2010). I was exposed to graduate program courses, and I am 100% sure that I fell in love with AI. Then, the professor and I had weekly one-on-one meetings and made sure that I continued to improve my IEEE journal reading and programming skills. At this moment I feel that I am truly alive and that my life is full of hope and purpose. If I could do it all over again, I would start this mode earlier. These are my college memories shared with you who are still college students. Of course, the story gets more and more exciting as time goes on. I successfully obtained a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the best university (NTUST) in Taiwan, and my first job was offered by the best academic institution (Academia Sinica) in Taiwan, and my second job was offered by the best CNC machine tool company (YCM) in Taiwan.

老師的大學學歷不如各位所就讀的逢甲，但我的人生因我的心態改變而迎來了重大轉折。意思是，你們可能無法拿到老師的台科電機所學歷(學霸例外)，也可能無法靠自己努力讓中研院給你工作機會等等。但是別灰心，你不需要成為任何長輩口中的模樣，你只需要清楚知道自己的人生想要塗抹的色彩即可。老師在大學期間曾經被系上老師拉了一把，讓一個處於迷茫狀態的自己有機會像個巨人一樣地甦醒過來。因此，我也在大學時立志當一位大學教授，讓更多想讓自己變得更好的學生有機會遇到伯樂，如果你覺得你是一塊懷才不遇的璞玉，也許你可以試著把自己交給老師，讓我們一起用心雕琢，讓明天的你更加耀眼。我做得到，你們也一定沒問題的吧！

1. Freshman year:

I was deeply committed to mastering the course knowledge and attended cram schools until my senior year to enhance my understanding of the theory.

2. Sophomore year:

I began planning and engaging in extracurricular activities, which included studying for certification exams, participating in clubs, and organizing a fun competition that attracted over 100 participants.

3. Junior year:

I began my graduation project and embarked on my first international exchange trip with a university team to a university in China.

4. Senior year:

I began the pre-graduate program (4+1), where I learned how to conduct research under the guidance of my supervisor. Additionally, I embarked on my second international exchange trip with a university team to a university in China.

This program aims to use your spare time to improve yourself. First of all, you must sincerely want to be different, and be willing to devote your enthusiasm and time to after-school learning. I think you should visit this website first to learn more about the features of the PI and the laboratory, and more importantly, to confirm whether each other's values ​​are close. We can discuss the design of a learning list to match what you want to achieve in life. Remember, many competitors want a better life just like you. Therefore, you must learn how to be stress-resistant. Having a hobby for sports is a great way to do that. I am also looking for partners, such as running, basketball, and fitness. We often collaborate with partners (Academia Sinica, NTUST, YCM) on challenging research topics. We all believe that "research" should not just copy and paste, but should spend many days and nights, enthusiasm, and resources to water it into a moving flower. However, the main elements of the research work include measurement, analysis, control, artificial intelligence, and system integration. 

Most of the research topics we focus on are related to industry. We hope students can have good vision and ability and shine in the workplace.

• Academia Sinica: Our cooperative relationship is based on issues of common concern related to data science and AI. Over the past few years, several promising students have received scholarships. Usually, you have to pay for enthusiastic research work for several months and prove your contribution before you have the opportunity to challenge the award.

• NTUST: IMIC and ours have the same goal and work together to demonstrate the power of smart manufacturing. The IMIC field has rich resources waiting for you to practice and make yourself stronger.

• Manufacturing industry: Solve practical problems with smart automation systems as the core, such as material management, visual inspection, smart control, etc. You'll be able to hone the skills required by industry on campus, making you better than you were yesterday.

• Drones: It changes the game rules and brings us more imagination and possibilities. We also have some students who have developed promising technologies. Of course, we need more drone enthusiasts to join us.
