Workshop no. 1) Basics of Clinics: Interactive tutorials
Background: Through this workshop, the participants will have an opportunity to interact with Specialist Clinicians, who will share their insights through some case studies on index diseases like Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. There would also be an insight into representative case vignettes by Neuropathologists, to demonstrate the pathological aspects.
Number of Participants: Upto 25 ECRs

Workshop no. 3) Drosophila, the easy teacher: Neurogenetic basis of behaviours, from Sleep to Neurodegeneration
Background: Through this workshop, the participants will have an opportunity to learn the basics of Fly as a model for studying neuro-behaviour. They will also learn about the success stories of various Neuroscience research areas which have benefitted using the fly model. They will have exposure to fly husbandry, understanding of circadian rhythm, demonstration of sleep experimental set up and analysis. Assessment of motor behaviours related to neurodegeneration will form the second major part of the workshop.
