What is a hybrid?

"Hybrids were discovered by humanity, not created by them"

That's the first thing we need to know about these creatures in order to be able to fully understand them. The origin of the hybrids can be tracked down as far as 2072 when a scientist named Marcus Hopper discovered the so called Hybrid Lamborghini, also known as The first hybrid, or simply; "The first". This was the first hybrid ever discovered by humanity, and recived this name due it's similarity to an unspecified model of Lamborghini car. The information about such obscure discovery has been keept secret by the E.M.'s government since then, but it is common belief that all hybrids are, somehow, related to that one hybrid Lambo, and that Marcus Hopper was the main person who helped create the many breeds of hybrids that exists nowadays using the H.L.'s DNA. 

In many ways, the idea of this First Hybrid has gained god-like status and admiration by all the hybrids that know the story, even when no one knows how this being actually looks like, or if it is even real. This being has never been seen by anyone aside from the scientists that worked with it, scientists who are either missing or dead, all of them. 

This mysticism and overall confussion and misinformation about the origin of all hybrids has led to extremist hybrids take advantage of the naive minds of others, manipulating them into committing heinous acts in the name of false idols, being the best example of this the infamous case of the Vortex Accident; A revolution sparked by anger and years of abuse and slavery that, even when justified, it would have not been as successful if it wasn't because of one hybrid, one who called himself "The son of the First", a hybrid clever enough to realize about this vulnerabilities on the hybrids' collective mind, and used it on his advantage. The name of this hybrid, is Neyzan, the current leader of the dreaded clan of the Vortex.
