Destiny Library Catalog
Click on the icon to access Destiny, Hursey's online library collection catalog. Students will need to sign in with their username and password. They can also access the Destiny catalog from their Classlink account.
Students can use Destiny to look up what books are currently on the shelves in the Hursey Library and place holds on books that are checked out. When a book is placed on hold, the system will alert students when their hold is ready to be picked up at the library.
Mrs. E will send out paper notices monthly to help families remember which materials are overdue or currently checked out. Parents are also able to use the Destiny Catalog to check their students' library account digitally. To do so, follow these quick instructions:
Open the Destiny Catalog.
Sign in with your students' CCSD username and password.
Look for the main navigation menu. Click on "My Stuff."
Click on Checkouts and Fines to see current checkouts and fine balances.
The following resources will also require your student(s) to log in using their CCSD username and password. These resources, including the Destiny Library Catalog, is also available in your student(s) Classlink accounts. Please reach out to Mrs. E or your students' classroom teacher if you need assistance logging in.
Click on this icon to open Sora by Overdrive to access e-books and audiobooks for all ages.
. You can visit Overdrive's How-To Resources to discover how to search for books, personalize your reading experience, etc.
Click on the Epic icon to open and access ebooks, read alongs, and videos! Epic is a safe online reading apps geared at kids ages 12 and younger.
Students will also need the class code from their classroom teacher to use Epic. However, students are always welcome to use the LIBRARY CLASSROOM CODE: bxi2803
