School Age

At Hunter SafeCare, we provide before- and after-school care for students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade.  We follow the Franklin City Schools calendar; however we remain open during all scheduled breaks, teacher in-service days, and some holidays.  We are also open during most calamity days and delays.  Our facility typically closes when a Level 3 Emergency has been declared for Warren County.

During their time at SafeCare, the children are able to spend time with their friends and engage in age-appropriate activities.  We also provide a nurturing and relaxing environment for the children to complete any school assignments or receive assistance with homework if necessary.  Your child may also have the opportunity to use a computer in a supervised setting to promote technological literacy and understanding.

Transportation is provided to and from SafeCare for students that attend Hunter Elementary in Franklin.  For more details about provided transportation services, please contact us.
