Unit Overview
Unit 1 consists of learning new terms that will be used in this course, which I was oblivious to before starting this course or unit, and sometimes knowing the definition but not to the full extent. Along with learning new terms, I had the opportunity to research myself and see how large my digital footprint is, which was pretty fun and interesting.Â
For example, when I researched "Hunter Anderson Baseball," a link to a previous showcase from a few years back appeared, along with some YouTube links I was included in when I was digging into my name on the internet. This link is to my Perfect Game Baseball page, which was the headline link, Hunter Anderson Class of 2025 - Player Profile | Perfect Game USA. The next link was a Podcast I was a part of with my Head Coach from high school and alongside one of my teammates, also regarding our season and how we will prepare for our senior season, E:89 The Villages High School Baseball.

Lesson Learned
In this unit, I learned how to research myself and found images and links I hadn't seen online before. I thought this was really interesting, and that when you do a deep dive into yourself or anybody, there is so much to be found. I learned new terms and vocabulary that I didn't know before, and I now know and can use them in the future when I run across them, and I will know what they mean this time.
