While I used the link provided in our assignment when using Google News, I researched privacy through Cybersecurity. The first link that popped up was from Morgan Lewis Partner Heather Egan Named a Go To Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Lawyer by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly – News that was posted 3 days ago. This article stated that Heather Egan was named the top lawyer for cybersecurity and data privacy. The article also gives some background knowledge of the new go-to lawyer regarding her 25 years of experience and the wide variety of work that she can cover, which is almost the entirety of Cybersecurity. This article was pretty short but gave a large amount of information on a big deal in the world of technology. Learning about what Heather Egan can do, she is protecting everyone vulnerable and exposed to privacy breaches for each one of her clients while she gives them advice to continue to be safe while being safer on the internet.

The author was published by Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. The article was published on morganlewis.com, and the date of publication was June 29, 2026. The truthfulness and integrity are high because Morgan Lewis is a very established law firm, and it was and integrity is high due to Morgan Lewis is a very established law firm and written in a formal and professional manner. The second article I chose was on hacking. The situation in this article was about Tesla and a Russian hacker known as GreenTheOnly, who was being paid $15,000 per bug that was found. However, later, the Russian hacker turned on Tesla and began working against them while he was using a computer from a deadly car crash a few years back. GreenTheOnly was now in a crucial spot, holding evidence in a lawsuit that ended up costing Tesla $243 million. Reading this article allows me, as a reader, to take away the key points of it, such as the type of cybersecurity that was used, which was hacking, and how Tesla was majorly affected in this situation. The only way to prevent another situation like this is most likely to be more careful about who you trust and understand what is in the hands of the hacker that they hire.

The author of this article is Dave Smith, and published on the Yahoo Finance website through this link https://finance.yahoo.com. This article was published July 2, 2026, at 9:15 am. This is also a truthful source because it speaks about the court case and includes lots of evidence with lots of professionalism.
In this lesson, I was able to take away new knowledge about cybersecurity and hacking. I learned how to prevent it and what a user of the internet should and should not trust, along with the dos and don'ts. I was also able to receive information about a Lawyer that I researched who is all about cybersecurity and how well she can work for you in an article that I had to research for this unit. I found this unit very interesting because I learned a lot of new information that I was not taught before.
