Emerging Technology

In this project, we were assigned to make a PowerPoint presentation about a topic that we found about a type of new technology that is emerging. So, for this project, my chosen topic was Quantum Computing. Quantum Computing is a new type of technology that will innovate pretty much every aspect of life in the world, from weather reports to safety precautions that are physical and technical and much more. 

I chose this topic of Quantum Computing. I found it very interesting what is new in the technical world, because I am not very up to date with technology and don't know how much more innovative computers and digital devices can get beyond the extent we are at with generative AI. I also found it interesting what steps they are taking and researching about how they are already facing many challenges and how they are already taking steps of prevention. I am excited for what is yet to come with this emerging technology because it sounds much more creative and much more reliable than the technology we already have. One interesting thing that I learned was how they will be able to make transportation more efficient and make predictions from weather to traffic reports, and how much faster it will be able to work compared to the classical and present computers.

Throughout this project, I was able to learn a lot and take in a lot of information also. I learned that there are all sorts of emerging technologies, but there are more that stand out than others, and the amount of innovations is crazy to me personally. I always understood that technology was used to help predict certain things and project our safety, but reading about my topic of Quantum Computing really opened my eyes much more. The extent of the new technology that is on the come-up really is amazing, and I am excited to see what else our world is able to come up with in the future to see how far innovations can really go.
