The seed heads explode with the slightest touch, spreading the seeds near and far and leading to a plethora of flowers for the next season. In 2025, we had a bumper crop of these flowers in our garden. Like Impatiens capensis, unwanted plants are easy to pull out of the ground due to their shallow roots.
