The Religious Views of Albert Einstein

March 14 2021 is Albert Einstein's 142 birthday. There is widespread misunderstanding of Einstein's religious

views especially his use of the word "God". We will explore and clarify what those views were.

What are the justifiable limits to free speech?

As a follow-up on our last meeting "Finding Common Ground: The Dying Art of Disagreement or how can we disagree productively?" we will explore the concept of the justifiable limits to free speech. Does our right to protest ideas also include the right to protest the sharing of ideas, or even to oppose the right to hear uncomfortable ideas? How do we distinguish offensive speech from dangerous speech and how can we determine what should be tolerated, encouraged or banned?
