After Impeachment: What next?

The President's recent impeachment for high crimes and misdemeanors, along with his acquittal by the Senate raise some troubling questions: What are the limits to "Executive Privilege"? Is "Presidential Immunity" absolute? May a U.S. President forbid any investigation, or testimony of potentially incriminating witnesses? May he punish those who tell the truth under subpoena? May a President commit any crime no matter how egregious while in office and not be arrested or prosecuted? Could a President be arrested if he refused to leave office even after an Impeachment conviction by the U.S. Senate?
