Since arriving at Wabash College, I have worked with student collaborators to continuously expand the Trade Bargaining Dataset. Together, we identify trade-negotiation cases, trace negotiation histories, review source materials, and validate information on how trade talks begin, develop, conclude, or stall. The dataset would not have expanded to its current scope without their contributions.
This semester, the team is drafting case summaries for negotiations already included in the TBD. These summaries will help document how individual trade talks emerged, developed, and either concluded or stalled. Their contributions are essential to the dataset’s continued development and future research outputs.
