Since this assignment was about us, writing about what we wanted to do or are pursuing while we are in school made it easy to write this assignment because for most of us we know what we want to do when we get out of school. And being able to discuss that with people who are the same age, going through the same thing, it'll be easier to talk to them and bounce ideas off of.
The main thing I took away from writing this personal statement was doing the personality test. When I was taking it learning about different traits that I never knew I had were in there, primarily my energy because I thought I would be more intuitive but I was more observant. And when taking those kinds of tests and get the results, you start to think how that trait is used in your life and that was something I did once I saw what traits I had.
I would say that this sample demonstrates what I know about writing because when you are writing about a topic you enjoy it'll make the process flow smoother and be easier for you to write. Doing the proper research before beginning your essay or assignment, helps you get a better understanding of the topic and how you can relay that message to others so they can have the same understanding you have.
