The articles that were written use language that pertain to the music industry but are able to break down those languages so that anyone who is reading and interested in the issue can understand why it's important.
3. What does this sample of your writing demonstrate what you know about writing?
What does it show about your ability to compose and revise a literature review and edit it so it is appropriate for your professional discourse community? Giving yourself enough time to do the research and revise a review is important because you can gain so much information that you have to be able to give the key points because you don't want to summarize everything. I think I was able to expand on some of the points that were referenced in the review.
What does it show about how your use of evidence in the literature review is appropriate for the expectations of your professional discourse community? Evidence is important because if you have a question or are curios about a topic, more than likely someone else has the same question. Finding the information that is important to your topic can be hard but if you keep looking and searching, you will find many different articles that have to do with the issue that you want to expand on and that was something I was able to do.
How does your literature review show you know how to evaluate how evidence is articulated and supported within your professional discourse community? It shows that you have to have not only a good amount of reviews to look at, but can get different perspectives on how people view this topic and I feel that this was something I was able to incorporate.
How does your literature review illustrate that you know how to use the documentation and citation styles appropriate for your professional discourse community? I think it shows that I am able to correctly use citations when I am referencing someone else's work because I was able to do this in high school papers as well.
