**Terms of Service – Memory Lane**

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Memory Lane mobile application (“Memory Lane”, “the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
Memory Lane is designed to help individuals and families preserve and share memories through photos, written stories, and audio recordings.
Users may create and share memories within family groups inside the App.
You agree to use the App responsibly and not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
2. User Content
Users are responsible for the content they upload to Memory Lane, including photos, stories, and audio recordings.
By uploading content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to share it.
Content shared in a family group may be visible to other members of that group.
3. Premium Subscription
Memory Lane offers optional premium features through a subscription.
Subscriptions are managed via your Apple App Store account. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings.
4. Free Access for Care Professionals
Healthcare professionals and caregivers may be granted access to certain features free of charge as part of our mission to support individuals experiencing memory difficulties. We reserve the right to modify eligibility conditions at any time.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal or harmful content
- Attempt to disrupt or damage the service
- Attempt to access other users’ accounts without permission
Violation may result in suspension or termination of access.
6. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep Memory Lane available and reliable. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Disclaimer
Memory Lane is intended as a tool for preserving and sharing memories. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice or treatment.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memory Lane shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the App.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published within the App.

11. Apple-Specific Terms
a. **Acknowledgement**
These Terms are concluded between you and Memory Lane only, and not with Apple. Memory Lane is solely responsible for the App and its content.
b. **Scope of License**
The license granted to you is non-transferable and limited to use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s usage rules.
c. **Maintenance and Support**
Memory Lane is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support.
d. **Warranty**
Memory Lane is solely responsible for any warranties, to the extent not effectively disclaimed.
If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligations.
e. **Product Claims**
Memory Lane, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal compliance, and consumer protection claims.
f. **Intellectual Property Rights**
Memory Lane is solely responsible for addressing any third-party claims that the App infringes intellectual property rights.
g. **Legal Compliance**
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
h. **Third-Party Terms**
You must comply with applicable third-party agreements when using the App.
i. **Third-Party Beneficiary**
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
