In this role, I work closely with professional staff of the building as well as with campus departments to ensure the operations and staffing of the building are running smoothly, as well as running the events that occur within the building. Although simple, a good and effective email signature is an important part of both communication and professionalism. Having a professional and clean email signature is an important part of communicating with collegues and future employers. I tried to make my email signature sleek and organized while also displaying my roles and achievements so that people know what I am involved in.
Alpha Omega Epsilon is a social and professional sorority for women in engineering and other technical science fields. This organization has presented me with countless opportunities for professional development. One of these opportunities was being the convention delegate in 2022. I got the opportunity to travel to Houston for a weekend of professional confrencing as well as business meetings pertaining to the sorority. This was an amazing opportunity. I met so many mentors and peers within my field that I am still able to learn professional skills from now. I gained a new perspective to different aspects of a career and I know that I will take these with me as I progress.
