Healthcare Quality Improvement Knowledge
I learned a lot about healthcare quality improvement through my Quality Management and Improvement course. Healthcare in America is notably broken, this is something that is repeated again and again to us future healthcare workers. As part of our education, we learn extensively about existing healthcare quality improvement initiatives and the importance of having constant positive change in healthcare to improve the lifes of both patients and providers. I was able to use my knowledge of quality Improvement, or QI, to put together a presentation explaining the results of an existing Malaria vaccine implementation initiative taking place in the Kumasi clinic in Ghana. The presentation below is an excelent example of how QI results are meant to be presented to executives to ensure future funding for similar projects.
