Hello and welcome to my ePortfolio! 

My name is Ciera McCosh and I'm an HSMT major and a Public Health minor. I'm a senior at UNCC expected to graduate in the winter of 2022. My minor in Public Health will give me a greater understanding of Healthcare in the form of population health as well as determinants of health in individuals.

My professional goals include working my way up to be a nursing home administrator or an administrator for any form of an assisted living facility. As well as becoming a Financial Advisor which I am also studying for through my current profession. 

Currently, I am gaining experience in both managing as well as public health through our Global Public Health Brigades Organization on campus. I am currently the President of our branch and was with other members, planning a brigade to Panama in the summer of 2021, where we would have built sanitary latrines and taught the children of the community basic hygiene skills. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we were not able to travel.
